Cultra Ulster folk and Transport Museum
On Sunday 8th October a number of Larne AC members took a trip to Cultra Ulster folk and Transport Museum to take part in the 5k and 10k challenge. This race was organised by Born to Run in aid of Macmillian Cancer support.
The runners stepped back in time completing this very challenging course, consisting of the beautiful parkland of the Folk Museum with many hills on route.
John Neill won the 10k race, finishing in 1st place overall with an excellent time of 38:57. Next runner home for the club was Thomas Craig with a very strong run finishing in 44:16 (11th position). Mark Todd followed with a great time of 48.20 (28th position).
