Ballymena Belles 5 Mile Road Race

On Tuesday 10th April, 18 Larne AC ladies joined 400 entrants for the 5th annual Ballymena Belles 5 mile road race. The well organised event hosted by Ballymena Runners.

The course which starts in the village of Galgorm, takes on a gentle climb into Ahoghill and winds through the country roads before finishing back at Galgorm community centre.

First home for Larne and 26th place overall was Julie Allen clocking a fantastic time of 38:37. Next home for Larne was Bernie Regan with a time of 39:47 34th overall and a 3rd place in F55 category. Bernie was follow home my Evelyn Cooke with another strong performance with a time of 46:34 in 138th position. Emily Boal was next in for the club with a time of 46:43 in 140th position with the same time in position 141th was Susan Nicholson.

Laura Brennan claim 2nd in the junior age category with fantastic time of 46:54, Below is the rest of the ladies position and times.
