Ballyclare May fair 5K and 10K races
Larne Athletic Club pick up awards in the Ballyclare May fair 5K and 10K races. Larne AC had 32 runners that traveled the short distance to Ballyclare to take part in the County Antrim Harriers event. The 10K course took in a loop to the top of The Square in the town centre, along country roads to Doagh and a final climb on the return to the finish at the Rugby Club, while the 5K took in the Main Street and Sixmilewater Park.
Larne inform Junior Jordan Heron was first in 9th position overall and winning the Male Junior category with a fantastic time of 38:53, Follow in with this Dad Brian Heron also winning this age category M45 with a brilliant time of 39:48 in 13th overall. Next in 14th place was local man Andy Gregg with a time of 40:10, Sean McAllister was next with a time of 41:50 in 23rd Close behind Sean was first Larne AC lady and getting 3rd place in the female race was Patricia Blair with a time of 42:25 just following Patricia in 28th position was Cahal McAuley with a time of 42:28 and winning the M55 age category.
Next in from the Club was Dom Dorris with a very strong run with a time of 48:07 in 73rd overall. Charlie Meban was next winning the M70 age category with a great time of 48:39 in 83.

Larne AC first home in the 5K race Josh Montgomery finishing 7th in a time of 19:19 and wining the Junior age category 18:47. Second finished for Larne was Bobby Boal with a time of 19:24 in 8th position. Next in was Mark Todd in 18th with a time of 21:04. 1st Female home was Kate Allen with a fantastic time of 21:04 in 3rd Female.
