ANTRIM COAST ROAD MARATHON 2018
Larne Athletic Club are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and as part of our celebrations, we are organising the Antrim Coast Road Marathon.
This race was originally held back in the 1980’s and was named the Nescafe Coast Road Marathon with running legend Ron Hill, being one of those who took part in it.
We thought there was no better time to resurrect this fantastic event. The route will take runners from Glenann Primary School BT44 0TG just outside Cushendall along the Antrim Coast Road to Larne Leisure Centre.
The race will be held on Saturday 30th June and will start at 9am. Runners will be bused from Larne Leisure Centre to the start line & the finish will be where our Half Marathon currently finishes on the promenade.
Entries will be limited to 250 runners. The entry fee will be £25.00 for Affiliated Athletes and £27.50 for unaffiliated Athletes.
Also check out our half marathon Facebook page for all the latest news in the build up to the big day – https://www.facebook.com/Antrim Coast Road Marathon.
Parking is at Larne Habour with the buses leaving at 7:15am
Have a look at some of the most beautiful scenery you will taking in along the marathon route…these views will take your mind off the miles one by one.
